Default Transmission Interchange

Hi all
I recently aquired a 1995 s10 Blazer 4x4 automatic. The trans is bad. The door sticker says date of manufacture is 04/95. The trans has the raised letters PMW behind torque converter. So with that said can anyone tell me what years will work for this truck?
Thank you in advance for any help.

You should be able to use a transmission from any '96 or newer (or '95 PWM equiped) truck. Somewhere in '96-'97 they changed to a two piece main case with a full circle front bell housing and a 6 bolt rear flange. To mate your transfer case up to the 6 bolt rear flange, you would need an adapter from an equivalently equiped newer truck. I am not sure if the adapters were the same for all of the various transfer cases used in the s-series vehicles, but they may be.
