Transmission problem 1997 blazer
I can use some help. I have a 1997 Chevy Blazer. The check engine light came on about the same time I started having a transmission problem. The problem is only about 5% of the time, when I come to a stop and take back off (like at a red light) it feels like the brake is on (but it is not), feels like a torque converter problem. The blazer shifts fine through all the gears and has never had a problem shifting. I had Advance Auto hook the hand held computer up to it and these are the codes I got: PO740, P0753, P0758, P0785, P1860, and P0740 again. The P0740 is the torque converter control circuit selenoid I think. Since the problem feels and acts like a torque converter problem can this P0740 cause the other selonoids to show also? Any suggestions or ideas would greatly be appreciated. Thanks
