Default Transmission shift from 1-2

The transmission does not want to shift automatically from 1-2. I have to rev the rpms up to about 2500 then let off the throttle for the transmission to shift from 1-2.

1991 4wd, the more I research the more I believe it could be the Throttle Placement Sensor.

Not a computer controlled transmission. Going to be TV cable adjustment or governor issue. YouTube has some vids on adjusting the cable.
