I dont normaly push myself this hard but my lease is expiring on garage so Im trying to get done as much as I can. Then theres the Holiday week prep. Then I got I move out of my garage into another place after the holiday. Then I finaly I can slow down..By then the snow will will be flying and realy cold weather will be here LOL.Thanksgiving should be fun though except for the drive which I expect the roads to be nuts. Also after I get done with moving everything to my new place Im taking a week off to relax

im haveing the same issue as well. my last transmission burnt out and i got a used but newer one i pulled the pan cover off to inspect for metal fragments and i seen none. i had someone install the transmission with kendal dex 6 transmission fluid and he refilled the tq converter and flushed the lines and installed a new filter the truck drove great for the first few days until today it started slipping in 1-2 it shifts good but has slip to it and it drives good on the hwy. i checked the dipstick and the fluid seems black when it should be red since it was all new fluid installed. any ideas what it can be

If your fluid is black your trans has major problems,Its getting hot and that why you have the slipping. If theres any chance to save it get a total flush done. The type where the pan is removed and 100% of the fluid is removed.Add dextron 3 a bottle of lucus, new filter.Maybe ad a trans cooler also.

On a side note I have taken a weekk off from working on my Jimmy after moving my shop. Its sure been nice to relax.
