Transmission or something else ?
Something has to be wrong internal to the transmission and/or torque converter...
As far as flushing an old transmission goes, if your transmission blows after a flush, you were already working on borrowed time. A flush will not cause a transmission to fail, but may dislodge some debris inside the transmission that was aiding a bad seal.

They should have been able to see the requested lockup and the delivered lockup as well as compare the engine RPM with what the transmission RPM was to determine of there was excessive stall in the converter indicating that it has somehow failed.
I can see no other explanation than that the transmission is at fault here (torque converter included). If one shop says that there is nothing wrong with the transmission, take it to another shop. Clearly explain the problems you are experiencing and have them diagnose it.
Transmissions are very complex and involved systems to diagnose. The only other thing, in my opinion, that is worse is wiring problems.

I went and got a second opinion, Cottman Transmission says I have a first gear clutch going out on my transmission but I dont know if I believe him, he didnt seem 100% for sure. HELP !! I need ideas please.
Alright I got another opinion and this on is saying my transmission is trying to take off in second gear and then shifts up to first after it warms up, when its not warmed up everything is fine. Anyway this guy is saying I need a shift selenoid, but wouldnt that send a code to the computer ??? Please help.
After all the opinions the valve body was the problem. For anyone that is having the same problem I had, I would recommend just changing the whole valve body and switches. That fixed mine. Thanks everyone for your help.
