Default Transmission Trouble??

Hey gueys alright this morning its very cold out about 20 degrees went to start my blazer was driving it and it was driving fine then. Out of nowhere my transmission does something very weird it has been doing this for awhile but not this bad. What i am experiancing is when i stopped at a red light i went to take off engine revs then truck jerks a couple times then takes off but the engine revs before the truck moves.

So what is wrong with my transmission also for along time when i have gone very slow and went to take off there is a clunk somewhere is the driveline Could this be a ujoint causing the slipping event and noise i hear???

It also usually only does it when i go around corners is when it slips the most but todays it doesnt matter it took about 2 to 3 seconds before the tranny caught up and made the truck takeoff

Rev move a little then finally takeoff

Help Please

Thanks

Jared.

Pre '93 check your TV Cable adjustment.
Post '93 take it to a shop.
sounds like a slipping toruqe converter, or a bad pump. Could be only a matter of time.

clunk is typically a u-joint.

Sure does sound like low fluid. Slips on turns and at stops? Fluid sloshes to the front on stops, and sloshes to the sides on turns, causing pump to get a big swallow of air. Pump cant make pressure with air so the clutches release then reapply with a bang when the pump gets fluid again.

Check the fluid again. Make sure your checking it right and make sure your getting a "true" reading.

Any leaks? Is the transfer case overfull? Fluid from the trans can "migrate" into the transfer case making it overfull and making the trans low.
