i was woundering cause non of the part stores around me sell trans temp gauges i was wounderin ig u could use a water/oil temp gauge insted

You could probably use an oil temp gauge, but a trans gauge has a specific range that it operates in. An engine does not rely on rubber seals and fiber material to operate, so temperature really does matter.

I use a ScanGauge II.
The Xgauge feature on it is awesome, can tell you tranny temp, water temp, milage, tps readings, timing, map readings, voltage, and many others. Can also read/clear codes.

If you really want to use one of those guages, just use it.

no im just wounderin wat will happen i mean i have one of the gauges so i was just wounderin if it would work
