Default Trouble starting 95' blazer

I have a 95 blazer and when trying to start it, the engine will not turn over at all. I took my battery in to check the charge and it is fine. I'm thinking it may be the alternator or the starter. Has anyone had this problem / and the fix for it?

When you turn the key to like your gonna start it, (put your headlights on) Do the headlights dim??? if they dont it may be the starter or your Ign switch ....

I tried this and the headlights dim just slightly...and there is an electric (humming) sound when trying to turn the engine.

it sounds like it could be the solenoid on the starter, drop the starter and have the whole thing tested at an auto parts store...
