Default Truck won't start

I just finished my v8 swap and now my truck will not start. It is getting fuel and spark. I set timing at tdc and at 360*(just incase i messes up) and got nothing. It turns over no problem, but just wont start. I went back through and loosened all the valves incase they were too tight, and still nothing. I then went back through and readjusted them using the EIC/IEO + 1/4 method. I even thought that it might be getting too much fuel since the pump I put on it runs between 5.5 and 9 psi, so I took the fuel pump relay out and let it sit for a while. I poured a little bit of gas down the carb and tried it again and still got nothing.
I am frustrated.
I am sure it is something simple, but just can't figure it out.

Yes I got the firing order right.
I actually got it running first thing today. I put a fuel pressure regulator on it, regulated to 5psi, and it started right up. The fuel pump was pushing too much fuel into the carb.
But thanks..
Now I jsut have to figure out the neutral safety switch problem.
