TV Cable Routing/Anchoring

Replaced the TV cable and udjusted per instructions shifts great. Only question I have is...As the cable is routed back to the tranny should it be secured somewhere under the vehicle?
I ask because it seems that sometimes when I let off the throttle I can hear A cable, not sure which, bounce/smack into the floor pan. Hallucinating? I don't think so.
