Not worth the hassle unless this is going to be a show truck.

If you want more power go V8. If you want insane power go big block V8.

 

Well, I am starting to put together some prelim ideas, maybe instead of removing the rear drive shaft it might be easier to put some sort of clutch flywheel on the axle and then run a belt off the rear engine to supplement the power of the front motor. It donned on me that if there is any difference in torque/ power between the two engines then the drive shaft system is whats going to be the weak link. So some sort of clutch is going to be required so that the motors dont fight with each other.

 

Since your still thnking of doing this. Check out the Tractor/Truck pulls. they run two and more engines at a time.
