Default Vacuum system

Just bought an 84 blazer 2.8 no vacuum inside to run vents etc any help? Tore dash apart everything is fine but can't find where it goes through firewall. They put a new carb on engine with electric choke so all of the vacuum is messed up. Overwhelmed don't know where to start.

I've never looked under the hood of that era, but here are some vacuum diagrams from a quick Google search. I had an 81 cutlass with a broken line to the canister and that had the vacuum system all messed up until I found it...

if you can see where the vacuum is supposed to go onto the back of the control head, you can always get all ghetto and just drill a small hole in the fire wall and run your own vacuum line
