Weird hesitation
I have a 96 blazer I bought with a bad engine. I replaced the engine with a used one from a wrecked 97 model with 101,000 on it.
While I had it out I replaced the plugs, wires, seals, gaskets, air/fuel filter, battery and spider.
I now have it on the road and it really runs great. Good oil pressure no smoke.
The only problem is when I first start it up it will start and idle fine. If i rev it up its fine but when I pull out it does not want to go. It kind of spuders for a couple of seconds then it takes off. Once it gets going it is fine until it sits for a few minutes again. No check engine light.
Any guesses?

RE: Weird hesitation
mine does the same exact thing . i thought it was the MAF sensor but i cleaned it and it still does it. so for both of us lets hope some one chimes in. but it is funny after cleaning my MAF my gas millage has gone down and i did not even break any thing but it does drive MUCH better. like a new engine even.

RE: Weird hesitation
Could be a host of things.
Start with the basics.
Fuel filter and air filter.
What kind of starts do you have?
Long or does it fire right up?
