hello

why when i accelerate hard, when i have about a quarter tank, it gas guage goes to E and sometimes the low fuel light turns on. after about a minuet or so, the gauge will return to normal. this also happens if i coast in neutral. is this a saftey feature or is it broken??

fuel moves from one end of the tank to the other. incidentally this takes it from the float so it drops to E as its in a fixed position and doesn't follow the fuel.

 

Also the fuel gauge doesn't receive/send information in real time there is about a five second delay which adds to the lapse in information.

 

I have the same problem with my full size exeptits the other way around so when I accellerate it goes up and when braking it goes down... I have yet to solve the problem
