also, when driving the blazer kicks hard from first to second (i have auto tranny) anything i can do to stop that?

My god man... How many threads do you need??? You may want to try to be more descriptive in your thread titles... We don't need a novel, but some indication as to what you are having trouble with would be nice.
Also, try to keep all of your problems to one thread, it is very possible that some problems could have a common cause and if they are spread out over numerous threads, it will be more difficult to diagnose each problem separately...

You need to have the valve body replaced on yout transmission. its an updated valve body. mine was doin the same and i brought it to the dealer and GM issued a Valve body update is what they told me they showed me what was different from my valve body to the new one. Shifts way smoother then before.

i believe my bill would have been $700 or so but i had warr on my truck. you might be able to have a good tranny shop do it for less. look into it.

$700 isnt too bad, should i have the VB replaced or should i just replace the entire tranny?. is the valve body replacement something my dad and i could do or should i just leave it to a professional?
