Some Nice pics... did you have to shorten your drive shaft when using the adapters?

If you are really serious about installing a V8 into an S10 do yourself a favor and pick up a JTR S10 V8 Conversion manual. You can find them used on ebay or buy new from JTR website or Summit racing. It is not a direct bolt in as far as the mods to the engine bay in order to make it fit. The manual covers all aspects of installing V8's into the s10. This way you would know what your getting into before you start. According to the Jeggs manual the 305 is not a bad choice for the S10. I looked at the excerpts on the JTR website and decided I was happy with my 4.3. Below is a link to their website.

honestly i dont even remember. i built that thing like 5-6 years ago. i have a ton of spare driveshafts laying around and might have just used one of those since the truck was a 4cyl with a manual and i put it a 350 with a th350 trans. i really dont recall sorry but if you used the stock transmission then yeah i guess you would probably have to shorten it a inch if the driveshaft bottomed out
