Exclamation ZR2 blazer running odd??

I've searched for anything similar to this but couldnt find anything close so forgive me if this was answered before. I upgraded my Alternator to that of one out of a Silverado 130A. since then i've been having a few issues. One morning I couldnt get it to start. It would just crank and crank but wouldnt turn over. Later on that day I tried and it started up just fine. So I replaced the Cap and Button. A week or so later I was cruising down the road and it started to hesitate and as I gave it more gas, it died and wouldnt start up until after it sat for about 10 minutes. Once I got it home I replaced the IAC and TPS along with a new PCV. I did notice that ocationally when the key is in run and engine is off, the SES light is off. And other times it is on. Its very intermittent.

So to sum it up.
new cap
new button
new TPS
new IAC
new PCV
and occationally the SES light isnt on when the key is in 'Run' with engine off.

I'm at a loss. Any help will be appriciated.

sounds like your ground, or a ground is bad or needs to be cleaned and i only say this because you messed with your alternator. i would look over the wires you re hooked up and then look over your grounds maybe something got pinched or moved and now its not connecting all the time or intermittently... just a thought.
