Default 454 conversion

I have a 1990 GMC Jimmy full size 4wd with a very tired 350 TBI. I want to put in a 454 from a 1988 one ton chevy pick-up. I have the big block and all the accessory brackets. I also have the power steering pump. I hope to re-use my AC compressor, alternator, and as much as the stuff from the front of my 350 as I can since my components are nearly new. Has anyone attempted this conversion and can they offer any advice concerning which parts will swap over -- like the tensioner, idler pulley, etc...? Does anyone have a diagram so that I can see how all the brackets bolt together. I will also need to gather all the bolts and hardware for the brackets. I hope to re-use some of the hardware from the 350. Any help would be appreciated.

Instead of a 454, I would have put in a Vortec V8, just saying.

Default ok, but

Ok, everyone has different tastes, but I already have the 454. It only has 66,000 miles on it and I got it cheap. So having established this, does anyone have any advice on the 454.

Does anyone have a detailed picture of the front accessories on a late eighties/early nineties 454? Perhaps someone with a big block Suburban?

The man has mind made up ok he`s going with 454 chevy big block so dont try to change his mind if you have help to offer then show it.FTR No he doesnt want to switch to a desel or an edsel IT 454 or nothing. So help this guy out or give him advice where to look for answers or parts he needs

I will say this no many of the accesories from your 350 are not going to fit on the 454 you may have to go to some bone yards and or place some ads.Id also look for some 3/4 trucks someone maybe parting out maybe that will help. Also try google image search that should help.Good luck with your project
