the wheel bearings are easy in the sense that they usually come right out using that special socket of course.

heres a stupid write up i did for another site cause the question was asked once a week on how to do the bearings

http://www.midwestern4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=549

if he said its upper and lower speedo cables that means its going to have cruise control. and you can just buy a one piece if that cruise dont work

i want to check and see what type of axle there are. i think their danas. how many bolts are they going to have on the back. also on these are they going to have a g80 like locker or a limited slip from the factory?

Stock axles are going to be...
Front Axle: GM Corporate 10-bolt (8.5-in. 1.28 Axle Dia. 28 Spline)
Rear Axle: GM Corporate 10-bolt (8.5-in. 1.28 Axle Dia. 28 Spline)

And if it did come with the factory gov-loc (aka gov-bomb), hopefully it failed long ago and was replaced by a good differential. The early G80 diffs were horrible.

alright i've seen some swaps of the open diffs to air lockers. they didn't look to bad to do a swap. i'll check on the diff when i go look at it. those axle you gave above are they "dana axles". i dont know for sure if the ones on it are stock or not. they'd be 28 year old axles (if they were stock)

No, they are not Dana axles, they are GM Corporate 10-bolt axles.
