85 k10 front axle

would that make it 8 lug or would it still be 6 thanks for the idea tho there is always a junk yard around that might still have some around..

3/4 ton would be 8 lug. A 3/4 ton front axle is the same as the 1/2 ton (with the exception of the 8-lug spindles) so you aren't really gaining much strength there. A 14BFF from a 3/4 ton will bolt right in, but if you get the complete running gear from a 1 ton, the rear axle spring perches will have to be moved in.

im gonna look in and see about just replacing the gears in it and see what i gain that way thanks
