Any one seen this before? My fuel gauge in my 93 K5 seems to hang up or bounce from on level to another. What I mean is that I can fill it full and it will register full, it will then just drop say an 1/8th of a tank and then 10 minutes later just pop back up to full again. it seems to be doing this on the high end from the 1/2 to full mark only. Is it time for a new sending unit? Or do I need to drop the tank down on a jack and clean the connections which I don't think is the problem seeing it always reads.

Nobody else has experienced erratic fuel gauge readings??

And yes just to be on the safe side I pulled the ground sanded it clean and the mount area then applied some lube to keep it clean and rust free.
