Default to buy or not to buy

Hello. New here and New to blazers. I have an 86 k5 that I am working on and have found a set of rears I may buy. My problem is I am not to familiar with rears and which are best. they are 3/4 ton 8 lug. the back is a 14 bolt ff and the front appears to be an 8.5". They claim to be out of an 84 pick up but the 14 bolt has disc brakes. Looks like a conversion. Is it worth getting the pair or should I wait for a dana 60 front. asking 750 for the set.

here is the craigslist ID# if you are willing to take a look and help me make this decision. post id: 5616950243

The owners say they have a few people scheduled to look this weekend so I am trying to get down there tonight, pending the approval of someone who knows rears and tells me its a good deal!

Price is high in my opinion. Unless they have the more desirable gears/lockers or have been recently rebuilt. A rear disc conversion doesn't add much value.

The front is likely the same 10 bolt you already have, and 14 bolt rears are a dime a dozen around here anyway.

I've sold many dana 44/ 14 bolt sets for $400-$500.
