A/C question
94 k5 ......
A/C when turned on has been making awful clanking noises; I figured low on coolant so I havnt been running it. I went to put coolant in and went with normal procedure of turning it on and before I could get coolant in there the pully stopped spinning and started smoking as the belt cont to run. is it possible to jump this or does this indicate a seize? also how difficult is it to replace the compressor/ clutch / whatever in that assembly might be needed? thanks for any help
