Hello all,

I have a 92 full size Blazer. The a/c is still r-12. I want to keep it that way. My current compressor has dumped on me. I purchased another but didnt pay attention to the pulley. Is it feasible to change the pulley from a v-belt to serpentine? I was wondering if I could swap pulleys from my bad one to the good one? I have a new drier and plenty of r-12.

 

There is no issue with doing that. Just make sure the clutch is shimmed properly.

 

Thanks alot, wasnt sure it was worth the effort to do or if I needed to go and buy another one. Dang sure gotta have the cool breeze.
