Hesitation
My 1988 Blazer is starting to hesitate when I step on the gas and I noticed the pick up and power is not like it used to be. Any ideas to what might be the cause. I'm trying to get it ready for a Elk hunting trip in Montana in November. Won't be able to make it if my Rig isn't running right. I replaced my plugs, plugs wires. pvc valve, O2 sensor, fuel filter, New intake system, Headers and exhaust system. Thanks for all and any help.

It is possible that the EGR valve is not functioning correctly. It is also possible that your injectors are not putting out the correct spray pattern, affecting the efficiency of the engine.

did you replace the fuel filter in the tank. and run some 92 with octane booster to clean out your injectors. also check for a vacume leak somewhere

I found that my distrubutor cap was not sitting corretly on the distributor and that there was some pieces broken on the distributor as well. Think it might have been the stator. Ordered a New Accel HEI distributor but have not put on yet. I'm hoping that this will fix my crappy running issues.

Well for any one that just wants to know, I installed a new distributor and my Blazer run awesome. But if its not one things its another. Heard one of my headers gasket blow out and then my engine light came on. I hope its because of my exhaust leak.

Sounds good on the distributor. Not so good on the header gasket though...
