obd code 15 coolant sensor

obd code 15 coolant sensor
86 k5 w/5.7
throwing a code 15 so i replaced the sensor and I am still getting the same code. Any ideas what it could be? besides possibly the new sensor is bad too.
Oddly enough it was throwing a code 23 for intake air temp and that code is now gone after replacing coolant sensor.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
