Transmission shifting

Default Transmission shifting

I have a 84 blazer Siverado and i have an issue with it hard shifting into 2d gear at 20MPH.......why and what would be the cause i believe it has a 400t in it. Can someone help me out....please

Could be a number of things. 1st off id start with the basics. Fluid & filter change,change the vacuum actuator and Check the Governor gear. this should help with the hard shifting into 2nd. about the hard shifting into gear,ehhh..do the filter change 1st.

I believe That blazer would have had the 700R4 in it it unless someone swapped it out
