Question WTF is the oil sending sender on this K series???????

Here's the deal.... 1993 Blazer 5.7L 4X4 with a HD factory oil cooler system. There is an adapter on the block so the oil filter sits almost parallel to the block (facing front to rear instead of up and down from the block) and the cooling lines are between it and the block so no oil sending unit above the filter as the book says. I have searched high and low and the only place I can possibly see it could be is off an elbow mounted almost under the distributor behind the intake that turns under the distributor of course. Too pooped screwing with the fuel pump problem this week so far to tear all the crap out of the way to see if it can be hidden under there for ****s and giggles. Anyone have such an option or know if that POS is hidden under the distributor and covered by the wiring harness, plug wires and such? With my luck, I'll have to pull the distributor to locate it and the wiring.........
