lol. I was also thinking about getting a cold air intake as well. Are these worth the money?

Putting a v8 in a lifted blazer usually requires adjusting U joint angles. That prolly involves constructing or at least heavely modifying the trans cross member. That involves adjusting the position of the transfer case. That involves rerouting the exaust system and power steering pump. And all for a thousand dollars.

I will say no, they do not add anything, from what I have heard.

$1000 can get you a pretty good sound system but realistically you need about $600 to get a great sound.

$120 for a decent deck and install stuff from crutchfield(overpriced usually but for HUs I like them for the free install stuff) set it up with High pass filter on your speakers.
$100-$150 for a decent amp. I would shoot for something like an audiopipe 1500 and run it at 2ohm so its easy on the electrical.
Then depending on space you want leftover I would run a single 12 or 15 and one of the 600w mid level woofers( dc lvl3, sundown sa, skar vvx) they go for about $200
get ya some a decent 4ga wiring kit for about $40-50, do the big 3 and then build a ported box to specs and you will have a GREAT sounding system with more output than most.

That sounds cool. Idk maybe I'll just sit on it and save up to buy a new v6 or v8. I can never decide on anything lol

Other option is to get your ecu programed, do a full exhaust (with those 2 done that intake may actually do something), and buy some material to build new bumpers. At-least that is what is on my list at some point. I am going to be starting with the bumpers during thanks giving.
