Default 2002 Blazer - Disable 12v when Blazer is off?

Completely random but does anyone know if it's possible to disable the 12v output when the car is off?

What 12V? The accessory outlets?

Yes ma'am,
I'd like it to power off when the rest of the car is off.

I did this with my 1999.

I used the Retained Accessory Power control to control a relay I added that controls whether or not power goes to one of the accessory outlets.

See the attached file with my circuit diagram.

get some copper pipe squash it only has to be around 4 inchs long drill a hole so it will go over the fuse box post and just get a simple red topped switch around 40 or 50 amp put that in line will accept your terminals and if you want it to act as a kill switch sorry but you open the bonnet and turn the switch off it will kill all power there so you will have to unlock it with the key.. then open bonnet and turn it on but its a simple fix and no ones going to flog your wheels hopefully

I have also changed my battery to the top post style rather than the stupid on the side style, mine corroded up something shocking

Do you mean the sockets to charge your laptop and cell phone you can switch it from continuous to accessory and ignition by going to another source like the radio but I like mine continuous so it will charge the cell phone whether these switches on or not

Rodney;

Look at the posting dates because your responding to a 3 year old thread and the OP has not been back since this thread. Love your energy level though.
