Default 2005 blazer fuel filter quick connector

Hello All

I have a 2005 blazer. The fuel filter threaded in on tank side and quick connect line on other side going to engine.

Cant figure out how o-rings and plastic spacer go inside quick connector. They came out when removing the filter. The spacer not shown in pics...

I think the tan o-ring goes in first followed by either the yellow o-ring or the plastic spacer. If spacer is second then Then the yellow o- ring is last????
Does anyone know how this packs? Thank you to all that reply.

Has anyone experience this before? If the orings and spacer have come out of the fiting, is the fiting now garbage? Thanks.

Are the o-rings the same size? I can't remember what I saw with mine the last time I replaced the fuel filter.

What you might do is try to find a replacement quick-release fitting at an auto parts store to compare. This is what I found at Dorman.

I did find this exploded diagram that shows in o-ring (pn 26) used at the fuel filter but it is for the threaded end.

This specific one is an o-ring I don't think I knew existed! I'll have to look for it next time and replace the fuel filter.

However, I would expect the quick-release fitting to have an o-ring too.

Hope this helps.

Default Quick connect

Yes. The quick release has at least 2. A tan color and a yellow color. They look the same size but from another picture I found it looks like the tan o-ring goes in first and the yellow last. But The plastic spacer, almost clear color, is in the quick release I think. I cannot find any info or diagrams on this. I don't want to experiment and have to fish out the rings and rearrange them if a leak occurs. It may damage the o-rings which will increase the problem. Here is what I have to work with.

They must fit in quick connect in the next picture below. I'm not sure how far down to insert them.

This is the setup.....
