I have driven several s-series blazers. from an 87 2.8 4x4 2dr to a 89 4.3 4x4 2dr to a 94 4.3vortec 2wd 4dr. They all drive differently. Personally, my favorite is the 89. It feels alot more stable and "sturdy" if ya know what I mean. The 94 has the most straight line ***** out performance, but it feels like your sitting right on top of the steering wheel as well as "top heavy" and not nearly as stable. Plus, it rattles and squeaks ALOT more than any other truck I've driven.
Maybe the 4x4 system has something to do with it, but I definately prefer the 2 doors over the 4 doors.

All blazers rattle its possibly the most annoying thing ever. Am I the only person that has repeatedly hit smacked and punched everything in my truck to try and stop that annoying rattle that won't go away lol

I can agree with that! It seems like all at once everything started to rattle! I punch the dash trim on a daily basis, the glove box squeaks and the passenger door rattles. My stock deck seems to be making a whirring noise when I press on the gas too...

I have had a squeak from the left side interior trim panels since the day I bought my truck new in '95. My truck got its name " The Squeaker" from my kids because of all the noises it makes. However back on topic, the 4 door trucks def. feel more stable to me on the road. I guess its due to the longer wheel base and slight increase in weight, however the 2 door in my opinion are slightly better off road for fitting into tighter spots. This in no way makes the 4 door bad it is just my opinion.

Wow! I must be tone deaf then, or I'm the luckiest SOB with the only non squeaker. My dads '89 Gypsy makes very few noises. And it really is worked, both as a driver and off-roader. I think the worst noise I've heard is the occasional glove box door rattle but even that isn't bad.
