Yup. I dont mind the work... if I did, I wouldn't own the blazer! Lol

Something like this may help you out if you want to manually be able to lock and unlock the axle disconnect. It also allows you to have 2 Low by leaving the axle disconnected and putting the transfer case in low.

Thanks, I've seen a home made remedy of this kit. But it's the awd I'm after.
