I will be installing a TBI 350 from a 1990 Suburban when I get around to it. I picked up the 'burb for dirt cheap with a strong engine and brand new transmission a few years ago. It's body was completely shot, but the parts that I wanted were in excellent shape. I will be transferring over the engine, steering gearbox, wiring harness, A/C, complete dash, power windows/locks, and most of the firewall to be able to use the '90 HVAC system. I will have to graft the head/tail light circuits onto the newer harness, but that is easy.
If you have a chance to have the donor vehicle along side your truck for the swap, it will go MUCH easier.
With the wiring, having factory service manuals (including the electrical manual for the '75) for both vehicles certainly helps when it comes to rewiring things.
