97 beak pads swap to a 02 blazer ?
#2
So long as it's 2wd to 2wd or 4wd to 4wd, I would like to say yes. But pads are like $20, seems to me like it would just be easier to buy new ones and do half the work (instead of tearing one part to just put the pads in the other...)

I'm almost certain that they are slightly different size/shape. The S-Series trucks switched to a slightly different caliper with 2 smaller pistons in '98. Check your '97. If it has a single piston on the caliper I believe that the pads will not fit on the newer '02. The rotor on the '97 and older is also slightly smaller vs the '98 and newer.
For the few dollars you might save, I think you'd be better off just putting new brake pads on your new truck.
