I try to remember that you guys don't speak proper english but sometimes I forget! I do understand the linguistic differnces having owned my C10 for about ten years now and having been using US forums since then.

Our LPG (lets call it autogas for easy identification) isn't straight propane, its a mixture of propane and Butane with a few other bits chucked in.

As soon as it stops raining/snowing I have all the parts to give mine a good tuneup and service, AC Delco cap, rotor, leads and irridium plugs gapped to .060 and new fuel air and oil filters, new coolant and oil. Hopefullly that should sort out the idle issues as apparently it came on gradually so I suspect the plug gaps have opened up. It was being serviced by a little local garage for the previous owner so I doubt they'd have bothered to source Delco stuff. The leads etc are probably still the original 2001 items looking at them.

Poor idle issues can also be a result of a vacuum leak. Propane systems will not tolerate any vacuum leaks.

Any advice as to where to check for a vacuum leak, any likely sources? Is it going to be a vacuum hose or could it be an intake gasket issue?

Most likely a hose or the mixer itself. I you are running the Impco 425 they have wear parts that cannot be serviced and replacement is the only option.

Rode behind an LPG powered Blazer this morning. Really neglected - a couple dents & scratches, the rear wiper (arm & all) gone. Looks like s**t. Clearly one of those who just drives it 'cause he's got it.
Anyway, tried to get his attention to pull him over & ask some question about the LPG performance & consumption but he didn't respond. I know he saw my truck 'cause he spent a fair time peeking in his rear view mirror.

Oh well, from the state of his vehicle he probably wouldn't know anything anyway!
