Default bad day

So i got a hold of this guy parting out an identical Jimmy so i went up to buy his hood and bumper because mines pretty beat off. I gave him the money and when I was loading the hood through the hatch I smashed the glass everywhere.. ended up giving the guy twice as much money as planned. Luckily he still had the window to sell me. Not to mention is was pouring rain.. So i rigged er up on the spot and had a crappydrive home hahah. 225$ for a hood bumper cover, rear hatch glass and window rain guards isn't a bad price do you guys think?

You basically got all of those parts for the price of an aftermarket glass replacement for the rear... Good job IMO. While breaking your glass sucks, the fact you had one readily available makes it a not-so-Bad day

Isn't the rear glass covered by insurance like the windscreen?

Yeah, that is a pretty nice deal for everything you got. But, at least there was a replacement available right away.

yes, rear glass, and all other is covered by glass only. i just went through this with the wifemobile... BUT price depends on the type of policy you carry
and it takes time for them to come replace your previous window.

if it's all in good shape and color matched, i think you got a good deal there.
