That shouldn`t be hard problem to solve. It`s gonna be a fine thread screw. You can either go to your local hardware store, junkyard, napa, autozone or pep boys.If no luck withing these options you may want to try your local Chevrolet dealer.

The grade of bolt on a shock is important. You don't want to have a failure at speed. If you just go to a Lowe's or Ace and get a bolt with the correct length, fine threads and so on, it can still break at the worst time. Some good counter men at the Chevy parts may not be able to provide the bolt from stock, but may be able to tell you the spec's on it. Then you can go to NAPA, AZ, or Adv Auto and purchase the correct bolt. Grade is crucial

Michigan salt destroyed my shock bolts and the threaded clips rotted through and just spun. My local auto store had shock bolt kits that had the correct bolts and new threaded clips. They come with either long or short clips, the rear of my jimmy used the short ones thoroughly gooped with anti-seize.

Hey, Rusty, that is a good find. Please post the 'part no.' and the auto store where you found this. I am sure since all these SUV's are at least 12 years old and rusty to some degree, the owners would like to know where they can get this shock bolt kits. Thanks!
