Bye bye boat.

Bye bye boat.
For those of you who have not yet checked out the .net site, I thought I’d fill you in.
What with lack of use & high gas prices (both for towing & the thirsty outboard) we've decided to sell the boat, so before it goes I thought I'd show some pics of it behind the Blazer.
Because it winter, boat sales are slow so we've listed it with a boat yard & hopefully it'll sell. If not then we will just keep it till summer. With gas prices having dropped from nearly $2.20 per litre to $1.96 we're hoping it'll go down more & should make it easier to sell. If not we plan to update the interior & make more use of it. My son-in-law is a dive instructor so we may use it to go to local dive sites in addition to just fishing or visiting the many islands around here. It's an 18 footer & grosses at around 1800 kg loaded, fuelled up & ready to go. No sweat towing with the Blazer. Mostly gets towed with the Explorer though. I don't like reversing the rear end into the sea to unload/retrieve the boat. Let the Explorer get the rust, besides the boat ramps are slippery & with road tyres I don’t get much traction. One day I fear the boat will drag the Blazer into the drink. lol

The happiest day in a man's life is the day he buys a boat - the second happiest day is the day he sells it.

But for the boat I have now if I sell it I would have to get another one within days I can't live without a boat.
