This front clip was already outdated in 2001, but it's interesting to notice the Chinese-assembled Blazers had it with the 2.4 engine (the same one which in America was called Vortec 2400 and only available as an industrial engine) while in Brazil they had the 2.2 instead (Opel C22 engine, not the Vortec 122). The 2.4 started to be available with the late-2000 facelift. The 3.0 seems to be a locally-sourced engine, presumably a derivative of the 60-degree V6 which is still used in Chinese Buicks.

Maybe if it had followed the 2000 facelift it could have been more successful in the Chinese market as it had been in Brazil.
