$46-$55 , my sending unit isn't reading properly so I have to go off what I think is empty but in reality normally there is still 2 gallons left in the tank . At "empty" I'm at about 230-260miles driven and avg I it varies but to and from work (26miles) I'm getting around 15-18mpg which is terrible in my eyes and I hate it but I love the truck so it's difficult to justify selling it to get something that yes will get me better gas miles but will I enjoy driving it , or truthfully know the vehicle was taken care of prior to my ownership ( previous owner is my step parents and they are conservative drives ) .

filled it up for 40 bucks the other day, at 3 bucks a gallon, only because a local grocery store here has "holiday gas station rewards" which when you spend money on food, which I do a lot, puts money on this card, which can be used for money off per gallon. up to 15 gallons, last time it was 35 cents off per gallon

Havent filled mine up in years now. But if I was to here in central Alberta. Its about 1.13/L so I would say about $65 from empty.

My Silverado takes $110 to fill at these prices.

Both went just as far on the tank of gas.

Default gas.....

i see that many of you get about the same mpg i do. i have a 99 blazer zr2. Its a nice vehicle but seriously how do you get more then 13 mpg out of this. I got into an accident with my Malibu and now using my girlfriends blazer and i am doing everything i can to up the mpg. any tips on how to get closer to 20mpg im not greedy, but going from once every two weeks to twice if not more in a single week to the gas station is killing me. I ran fuel injector cleaner in the last two tanks and plan on changing the air filter to a newer one. My gf is one of those people that drives to drive never took care of it had her grandpa or dad fill up fluids and such she is good though on oil changes but doesnt take any interest on how it works, or in this case on how to make it work better.

I have a 94 K5 with a 350 and 30 gal tank, gas is $3.87 a gal and commute 41 mi round trip daily into the mountains. All interstate at 70mph...about $80/$85 a week. Gettin 16 to 16.5 mpg. That is for a 4 day work week and a little driving around town too.
