Hey! I have heard through the local vine that one of these has just **** the bed(trans) I have seen it parked out back of this guys house. While I consider these fairly gaudy,I would love to get my hands on this car as I kind of like the grille and this unit is said to have only 220,000 miles on it. I never see these come up for sale, and a 97 Jimmy to me is worth $500! What is the premium I should expect to pay for this? It is in good body shape with a good color combo(red/silver) I really only want it for parts or to transfer my existing great 97 (white/silver)parts to make another nice unit,I really don't want the tacky interior or side trim. What do you think?

Turns out this unit has 310K-Trans shot, motor weak, suspension questionable and the unit has only seen rare carefull cleaning. It's really not that bad at all-BUT...This dude wants $2000 for it...WHAT? I offered him $500 and he told me to go FMS...So there it sits in the weeds, wasting away...what a shame!

Some people are crazy. Reminds me of the blazer I was looking at before I bought the one I did. Same deal, insane amount of miles, and the body was pretty rough. He demanded 2000. I told him I wouldn't pay more than 750 and he said no, I told him to enjoy his new lawn ornament, cuz it was gonna sit there for quite awhile.

Sad. One day when he decides to scrap it for LOADS of money (ever been on classifieds where people think cars scrap for a 1,000 bucks? LOL)
He will get his pretty check to see about 300 bucks then realize he messed up. Hard headed people learn.
