Default Engine Options?

I know with enough time and money, anything can work. But I was wondering about some of them 383's they got on ebay. Would it be hard to keep the AC and cruise control and all that stuff we take for granted? Like the motor in the link below. Would want it to be fuel injected. Just kind of been in the back of my mind. Maybe someday. I would assume it would be easier to just buy a used vette engine and tranny combo and cram it in. Thanks.
