when i bought my muffler from the auto parts store, I asked an older guy behind the counter for a flowmaster 40. He said "are you sure?" I told him yeah. He was like "alright" So he went into the back room and came back with a FM deltaflow or what ever the name is of the quieter FM's. I said "hey this isn't a 40".
He said "you don't want one of those, those are ticket-getters".I guess he meant they draw the attention of cops.I practically had to force him to sell me a 40. Haven't been pulled over yet. But you probably live in a smaller town right? Its the small towns that where they get you for that kind of crap.

 

Around here you won't get pulled over for a loud exhaust, but you will get pulled for a loud stereo...

 

ya its kinda funny since my subs r louder than my exhaust lol and i have never once been pulled over for them or anything related to them. i've even driven past cops w/ the subs loud. and my exhaust isnt even that loud so i'm hoping one i get a decent cop to inspect it and two that the tail pipe will tone it down just enough for them.

 

You know what there is a Martin in my Chassis class not sure what his first name is but Ill find out on Monday
