That truck looks good & I reckon you'll love it! Go for it. By the sound of it, you've got a better source for spares than us poor chaps with the Jap Blazers. For RHD particular parts we are reliant on used ones as RHD are difficult to source as new.

Yep, we had a 2.7 common rail diesel Jeep Cherokee (Liberty to you guys) and I'm not sure you got those, just the 3.7 petrol.

I'm not that far from Wigan up in Rossendale at the Burnley end hence the fact we get a bit of snow here although I'm guessing not as much as you do now!

That looks really nice - slightly different grille & bumber to my LT model though, mine is the chrome grille & bumper. I think I prefer yours more though - the color coded bumper seems to suit it well.
Manual transmission too - that indeed is VERY rare on a Blazer.
Hope it serves you well.

My Blazer is 2 wheel drive. It doesn't snow here and about 90% of Blazers in the never snow belt are 2wd. You can spot them because they have different road wheels. Mine is used for general transportation and to tow my caravan/travel trailer. On 2 different trips it has been 1000 miles down into Mexico and on others up to British Columbia and Alberta in Canada.

Its getting a service and tune up this sunday so should be running better afterwards. I kind of like the colour coded bumper too. Once I've got it running right first job is to fit a big pair of Hella Driving lights on the front bumper, may havce to make some brackets up so I don't have to drill it. In fact they are the ones that were on my old trooper, Hella Jumbo 220's with 100 watt bulbs in, I have got a second pair and I did contemplate for about five minutes the idea of putting them on the roof but then realised thjey are so huge it'd be like driving around with a large plank nailed upright on the roof.
