A Kind Reminder: When PMing me or asking me to confirm bulb type for your car or need a link to a kit, please include the following in your request so I can get you all the information and the link to the item right away. Thank you!

1.) YR MAKE MODEL
2.) What color would you like? (picture at 1st page of this thread)
5000K - White with light yellow tint (Closest to OEM HID color)
6000K - Pure White
8000K - White with light blue tint
3.) Are you looking for bulbs only? or the Conversion Kit?
4.) Other questions?

Thanks!
Michelle
I personally would call the 6k's white w/ a light blue tint and the 8k's a little more blue. I just installed them on my X5 yesterday, now I just need to do the writeup and post pics. Thanks.

HI,

Some bulbs types like D4, D1 and D2 series may be one level darker to the 6000K for these may have slight blue, and some aftermarket batches maybe have slight blue in the 6K, it also depends on the housing cover thickness and material (plastic or glass). Thank you for your update! Can't wait for your pictures!

Don't forget to add Facebook group to enter to win another free kit by 1st week January!
Thanks~

I would agree on the 6000K looking bluish. I have the 9006 replacement bulbs in the stock '99 Blazer housing.
You can see my write up for the kit & installation here... CLICK ME! ya know ya want to!
I compared them side by side to my Escalade which has OEM HID's. Judge for yourself.

You can just make out the difference from this shot.
Notice the slight blue tint to the Blazer lights. It is more noticeable in person.

Here is where you can really see the difference. Below are the OEM Escalade lights.

Here are the Blazer lights with the 6000K kit from HIDExtra.

Would anyone be interested in a 3 day only BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL from HIDeXtra.com??? Something a little better than the current deal for just 3 day only.

Up for discussion. THanks!

I still need H1 3k fogs in the 740iL, H1 6k headlights for the X5, and 9004 bixenons for the TL...and my buddy wants H3 6k for the headlights in his 750iL. It just comes down to what the "special" is.

I have just ordered my 5000k's for my low and high beams. I'm just waiting to pay for them. I'm quite pleased with the communication and the willingness to help me out, the lights are coming to Canada and the calculator on the website would not have calculated the rate to get them north of the border, Michelle took the time to do so for me.

I look forward to getting these lights installed and I'll post up a Review when I'm done.

I was worried about contrast levels, but seeing luvmytj's pictures helped make the decision on what colour temperature I was going with... Contrast is important when driving in snowy conditions.
