HID kit Review for HIDextra.com
I do not agree with the $35 dollar charge, seeing as one of my freinds with an acura recived a kit and the USPS shipping total was $23 dollars. seems sorta like a clear cut profit of 12 bucks if you ask me. That being said the kit works great in his car and was super easy to install.
Part of it also depends on the distance the item will be traveling. Edmonton may be closer to wherever HIDextra is located than Sudbury, Ontario. It takes a good 2-3 days to drive out there from here (thanks to lake Superior). It takes a full 18 hours for me to drive from my front door to the Manitoba border. It all adds up because she did calculate the shipping using my postal code.
Seeing as Michelle is running on PST, I'd say that was the case, I'm halfway across the continent and some ways North of her. Your buddy with Sintegra and yourself are much closer than I am. Shipping prices aren't cookie cutter costs, its by the mile.

when i finally received the lights-it took 17 days, not the 7 to 10 as i was told-the Customs Declaration inside showed that the actual cost of shipping was in fact US$21.38!
1.) 2000 GMC Jimmy
2.) 8000K - White with light blue tint
3.) Conversion Kit
4.) What kits will I need to convert high and low beam headlights to HID, and are my headlights sealed beam and need converted to H4, or are they already ready for the HID kits? Thanks!

the sealed beam HL's are what you found in the 1st gen trucks-and pretty much most vehicles made in the mid 80's and back.
the H4 system you refer to is the conversion for a sealed beam system to the replacement style bulb.
you need a 9005 kit (for the HB's), and a 9006 kit (for the LB's). as for the 8K bulbs, they're really more blue with a little white in them. and most people seem to be after a "truer" white colour, which ends @ the 6K bulb.
here, check out this thread actual HID install for you to see and you'll see first hand what a fellow member thinks of his kit, and how easy the install was.
Hi,
Please understand that all EMS express mails are CUT IN LINE and expedited in front of all our customer to make sure it goes out before others, therefore there is an extra handling fee, Thanks~ The $35 is a shipping and handling charge, since the printing of the custom forms and packaging are different then normal USPS shipped to US addresses.

HI,
Your bulb type is
2000 GMC Jimmy
Low beam headlamp

Your headlights are all single beams, so you can convert low, high and fogs and you will need 3 conversion kits to convert all.
you can order direct under the bulb type and color of your choice on www.hidextra.com
make sure to input each kit as a separate order so the coupon code is applied to each kit in each order.
Thanks~
Michelle
