Default Hitch Question (97.2door on a 99.4door?)

Hey Guys

I bought a REESE hitch last night from a 97' 2door 4x4 S10 Blazer, I own a 99' 4 door 4x4 S10 Blazer. I called autozone prior to buying it and looked online, I was told those years have the same frame and it will fit my 99'. I lined it up after I bought it and it looks like it may fit, but looks like a B**ch to put on. what can you tell me?

thanks

It's easy I did mine by myself. Not sure on the difference between the drawtite hitch that I have and the Reese but all I had to do was take out the bumper mount bolts that are further forward on the frame and the hitch bolted through them and one other pre existing hole.

use your floor jack to hold it up-if it's to heavy for you to single hand it-while you bolt her up.

on a side note............ZR2Daddy01, your sig has been my slogan for the last 20 years!

yeah I would recomend a floor jack to do this...I was stupid and thought I could do it on my own...yeah good luck with that. took me an hour to get 1 bolt in but it took 10 mins after I got the 1st bolt in
