I bought my '00 4.3 4x4 S10 Blazer in Jan '08 with 182,000 on her, She now has just over 230,000.

When I bought it it had been gone through with all the reg maint. all tune up parts, battery, belts, brakes, even new tires.

between 182,000 and 222,000 replaced in order as I remember it
fuel pump/filter
front axles
glove box door
wheel bearings
ball joints
rebuilt rear end
radiator/coolant flush/hoses
gas cap
tune up, plugs/wires/ect.
intake gasket
water pump
drive belts
replaced the tranny with one from a wrecking yard that had 97,000 on it

other than reg. oil changes and a few tail light bulbs thats about it.

And most of the work was done right after a day in the mud or snow (intake gasket/water pump was after a long road trip) and she's always got me back home and she's still my daily driver, weekend family crusier, trailer puller, and 4x4 play toy (I just take it a little easier on her now on our 4x4 trips) and she runs like a dream.

A couple things I've never fixed (been broke since I bought it)
rear window defrost
rear wiper motor
dent in the rear bumper
one bad speaker

and she needs
new tires
front brakes

cost of ownership over three years is about $110 a month (purchuse cost+maintnance costs), way cheaper than any car loan, thats why I'm looking for a good deal on my next Blazer to buy with cash.

Not sure if i posted this yet or not.

195,000 miles I replaced the factory original parts, front suspension.
Upper and lower ***** joints, both sides.
Both front shocks,
idler arm,
sway bar links, both sides,
Passenger hub assemble, and
Passenger cv axle.
Four new BFG 30x9.5x15 and a 4wheel alignment.

This week my radiaotro developed a leak.
Replacing the radiator,
upper and lower rad hoses,
oil cooler lines,
remote oil filter lines, and
Dexcool.
Yep all original except the dexcool.
Oh and 4-6 quarts of tranny fluid.

Beats a new truck payment, and she still drives great.

Pick up my 2000 LT Blazer 4x4 in 2002 (Second owner, me) with 42K on it, now has 105K. Replacement parts, well thats a long list and some twice ie; Belt Tensor, Fan Clutch, Battery. Also have replace the Alt, Plugs, Cap and Rotor ( A couple of times ) Flue filter, of course change the oil and filter every 7K, Door Pins, New tires, (Once so far), Brakes and they really didn't need it, had 90K on the rear brakes they look almost new and the front were in good shape but did it anyhow. Just replace the switch under the hood for the 4x4 now it works again (Vacumm hose broke loose and when I tried to get the rest of the hose off the switch it broke off, that cost me 66 bucks), A/C compressor, and maybe a few other things that skips my mine at the time. I will need a new muffer and cat soon and I have the motor for the drivers side window (It goes up and down when it feel like it, just to lazy to get into it). Tranny is okay so far, but then again I have it serviced every 50K and it needs it, last time the filter was pretty dirty. Have a small leak in the A/C line some where, will get to that later..when it cools down (live in AZ, suppose to be 115 today) I just keep it charge up, its last for about a yrs worth of driving. And believe it or not the only blubs I have replace (Knock of wood) is the one under the hood and I hit it with water and it blew...All other blubs are org. Still have the gloves that come with a LT, never use, I did try them on..hahahahahahaha...Jack never use, again knock on wood...So far so good, my wife said we will never get rid of it, if the engine goes have it rebuilt and not replace, keeping the same engine and rebuilding it, you can increase your horse power (Have it bore out a little and a few other things, plus you know what you have), I'm incline to agree with her..But, I did just buy a 2011 Nox LTS, I had to go that high in the model to get what my 2000 LT has on it, now thats sad...and the LT still has a few items the LTS does not have.

How long have you had your Equinox ? I bought a 2011 LT back in December. I've been having a problem with the bluetooth connection lately and was wondering if you have had any issues with yours ?
I had a 98 Blazer LT before. I have to say, other than the Bluetooth issue I really don't miss my 98 much.

Bought it in Nov. of '10. $1000. 205,052 miles. Just turned 209k the other day. All fluids changed. New plugs, filters, etc. Blazer runs no different as when purchased meaning just fine.

$1000 purchase price, Nov., '10. 205k, all original 2wd, '97. As of today, I would guess $50 in preventative maint. items (filters, plugs, fluids, etc.). Just turned 209k. I did however, spend another $50 in cosmetic parts, such as $25 for the rear drivers side bumper corner (beat up due to a blowout), drivers side kick panel & hood release, and the small vent below the glove box. And, I just realized, $37.79 for a new, aftermarket (Taiwan), pass. side mirror. This should last me the next 10 years or so, I hope.
