Finally got to 100,000 miles on my 2001 Blazer. I have had it 5 years and it was on 70,000 when I bought it in 2016.
Lockdowns have meant few miles in the last couple of years but it is still a reliable workhorse when needed.
It’s the third Blazer I have had over the last ten years and by far the best.
It looks like there are now less than a hundred left on UK roads so they are fast disappearing which is a great shame as there is nothing else like them.
Right hand drive parts can be a nightmare to get but fortunately I have built up a shed full of useful parts to keep it going for as long as I can.
The Blazer Forum is a brilliant source of information to help run such a rare vehicle .

The original one died at 334xxx km....

Put in an 03 engine that had 270xxx, replaced all gaskets minus heads... Did timing chain and gears, spider injector, waterpump, plugs and wires were a few months old from previous engine, rad, cooler lines.

Got 20xxx on it since...

I have read that you might get 300K out of this model if maintenance is done regularly!

My original engine has 291k miles on it and it doesn't make any noise or burn any oil. Mostly because it's sitting in a crate on the floor of my garage.

I sold a 99 s10 zr2 that had 870xxx on the original for 1000

Met a guy that did garage door installs and shad 950xxx on his original block...

Take car of it, and they should last!... unless it was a Friday build!

That's pretty amazing. I once sold a '90 Chevy C1500 with 490,000 miles on the original engine and thought that was pretty crazy.

Ah, big difference. Still impressive, though.
